The Marquis of Leguineche are back one last time in Nacional III, the 1982 Spanish film directed by Valencian Luis García Berlanga. Los Marqueses de Leguineche vuelven una vez más en Nacional III, la película española de 1982 dirigido por valenciano Luis García Berlanga. 

After being forced to sell their palace and the death of the father of Luis José (José Luis Vázquez López), the Leguineche family travel to Extremadura for the funeral. Chus (Amparo Soler Leal) inherits a lot of money, and the family go to great lengths (France? Miami?) to avoid paying taxes on it. Después de tener que vender su palació y la muerte del padre de Luis José (Jose Luis Vázquez López), la familia Leguineche va a Extremadura para el funeral. Chus (Amparo Soler Leal) recibe una herencia de mucho dinero, y la familia quieren hacer cualquier cosa, incluso trasladarse a Francia o Miami, para evitar pagar los impuestos y esconder el dinero. 

The film develops right after the attempted coup d’etat of Feb. 23, 1981, which adds an interesting backdrop to the film. El argumento desarrolla justo después de 23-F, cuando había un intento de golpe de estado, que hace la película algo más interesante. 

I have to say, I was dreading watching this one, but it pleasantly suprised me, being better than the soporific second installment. I think part of my problem is the fact I’m watching this in 2018, when I’m really sick of rich government folks trying to stay rich while screwing over the common folk. The third was better than the second, but I’m still not interested in seeing the so-called problems of the rich right now! He de decir que no me apetecía nada ver esta película, pero era mejor que anticipé. Era mucho mejor que la segunda, que era muy sosa. Creo que parte del problema es que estoy viéndolas en 2018, cuando estoy harto de las personas ricas del gobierno intentando quedarse con su dinero y se joden los demás. La tercera era mejor que la segunda, pero aún así, no me apetece ver los “problemas” de los ricos ahora mismo. 

They contemplated a fourth film, but Berlanga and Rafael Azcona were interested by a different project and Luis Escobar died before it was ever made. Contemplaron hacer una cuarta película de la saga, pero Berlanga y Rafael Azcona eran interesado en otros proyectos y Luis Escobar falleció antes de hacerla. 

Berlanga wrote the script with Azcona again, and Chus Lampreave, Luis Escobar, Luis Ciges and Agustín González, are among those returning. Berlanga escribió el guión con Azcona otra vez, y Chus Lampreave, Luis Escobar, Luis Ciges y Agustín González también ha vuelto.
